He had all these ideas in his mind about how it would happen - how he would jump off of the train and Phil would be there waiting for him, then he’d run up to Phil and they’d hug for the first time. Then he’d go back to Phil’s place and they’d have the house to themselves for the weekend. It would truly be the highlight of his month - maybe even his whole year - and Dan can’t help but to smile whenever he thinks about how he’s going to meet his best friend for the first time, knowing that nothing is going to spoil his weekend. Nothing.
