“No thanks,” Piper says, hand on her hip. “You’ll have to go through me.”
Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano joined the Hunters of Artemis a year ago. Since then, she’s traveled the world and gone on more adventures than ever before. Now, she’s heading to Camp Half-Blood with her friends to compete in the annual War Games between the Greeks, Romans, and Hunters.
While competing for honor and glory, Reyna is forced to confront her strange feelings for none other than Piper McLean. As they grow closer, those old feelings of jealousy rise up again. Except this time… they feel a little bit more like butterflies than jealousy?

Kafka wanted to feel fear so that she could fear loss. So that she could stop being so reckless all the time, and realize the value in the temporary that she would one day lose no matter what.
But now…now everything has gone to shit. What is there left to fear if the one thing she knew she would regret losing is already gone? Her wife is dead. She’s never coming back. There’s nothing left for her to be afraid of, even if she was capable of feeling it.

Summary
When the express oh-so-conveniently breaks down on Kafka's planet of residence, right in her city, Himeko just…can't take the stress anymore. Knowing that she's effectively stranded for the next several days in her ex's hometown is just too much on top of all her other responsibilities and all the pressure she's placed upon herself.
So…Himeko grabs a bottle of wine. It's the weekend anyways, so it's not like it's a problem. She's not doing anything out of the ordinary. And what's the big deal if she has four drinks instead of her usual one or two and ends up drunk? Who cares if she leaves the express without a word in the early hours of the night with rain pouring down overhead, all while wearing one of Kafka's coats she never gave back? So what if she ends up drinking another half a bottle and ends up completely wasted standing on Kafka's doorstep, desperately trying to calm her stomach so that she doesn't start violently throwing up all the wine?
Or:
One rainy night a drunken Himeko shows up on Kafka's doorstep and confesses more than she originally intended. (Kafhime week day 4: insecurities)
