“Fucking finally. Oh my god. Suguru, you have to come to the school right now.” Shoko’s initial annoyance and relief quickly turns into a frantic plea.
“What? Shoko, you know I can’t do that. What are—what is happening? Why are you calling me?” Suguru scoffs, almost laughing.
"Suguru, believe it or not, there are things happening in the world right now—you know, the world of your former best friends—that are more important than you and your ridiculous tirade of nonsense prejudice. Now, I need you to come here before Satoru hurts himself or somebody. I obviously wouldn’t ask you to come if someone was planning to stop you. What you did, it was—this is all fucked, Geto. But you—he needs you.”
Or--After he changed everything irrevocably, Suguru didn't expect to get a call from Shoko asking him to return. But Satoru is drunk and no one else can help.

Satoru pauses; just a moment, a brief falter. The way Suguru says it makes him feel like it’s not the type of
someone his mind might usually jump to at the phrase—still, something in his gut sours nonetheless.
“Oh yeah?” he says, trying for a lighthearted tone to cover his blunder. “Was she cute?”
Suguru shifts, makes to turn to him, before apparently remembering that Satoru’s fingers are still in his hair.
“I dunno. Maybe. How’d you know it was a ‘she?’”
The sour feeling grows.
“Lucky guess,” Satoru says, (hopefully) casually. “So, what did this ‘maybe-cute-she-someone’ want from you?”Or: Something is terribly wrong with Geto Suguru.

When a storm hits the city you rush home from work to avoid the risk of getting stranded at the office. Running towards your apartment block as the downpour of rain gets heavier, you fumble and drop your cluster of keys down the drain grate.
You stand still, trying to comprehend what you’ve just done as you become drenched in rainwater. You shiver in the cold. You reluctantly push the button labeled “GOJO” at the front doors of the building. Ugh.
You hear a soft click from the speaker.
“Hello…?”
