Summary
Abolish's mouth twitched, though whether he was fighting a smile or a frown, Scott couldn't tell. "Tell you what. You focus on this, and once we're done, we can spar."
Now that was a good way to get him motivated. "Should have said that earlier. Show me what to do."

If there is one thing Scott has learned about Abolish Veylocke, it is that he is unpredictable.

Summary
"So Martyn resigned himself to his fate and played the role of a spoiled noble’s son who didn’t know how to get about in the world. And yet, the face of the Datastream Defender couldn’t be further from the truth. The amount of bloodshed he’d seen and caused with his own two hands had long become background noise for him. The scars on his skin that never stuck outside of the world that made them, the way he was incapable of leaving traces of his existence behind, the fleeting touches had become a fool’s dream—thus was the Datastream Defender. [...] And then—Scott was here. Once more, the man with blue hair was everywhere Martyn went, never leaving his side despite never remembering him."
The Datastream Defender must leave the world of Oakhurst to continue on his journey. However, an all-too familiar face stops him from escaping, and Martyn can't ever run away from him. Not after all they've been through.

Summary
Scott hadn’t planned on being in the alley. He was just taking a shortcut back to his flat when the sound of shouting and something crashing in the distance made him pause. The city was loud these days — explosions, sirens, heroes doing their bit — but this was closer than usual.
He turned the corner and nearly walked right into someone.
The man stopped short too — blonde, wearing a sharp black suit, the kind that screamed “money” but was scuffed at the edges like it had been through a scuffle. A bandana obscured part of his face, but Scott caught the sharpness of his grin immediately.
“Well now,” the stranger said, tilting his head, “aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.”
Scott blinked. “...Right. Thanks?”Or

Summary
Prison never would've been Scott's vacation of choice. The food is bad, the clothes are hideous, and worst of all, he has very little time for his true passion: thievery. But now that he's newly free after three years, he has plans for something big, and he knows he can't do it alone.
Cleo is trying her best to be content. Her gang, the Crastle, is one of the most feared in the city and she has a decent stake in the city's illicit trade of magic. Things are good, if monotonous. But that might just change after she receives a visit from an old friend, and an offer she can't refuse.
Pearl swears up and down that her life isn't a mess. She finally has a normal job and normal friends, and she's only mildly paranoid. She also swore that she'd never do another heist again, but that was before Scott found her, and dragged her back into the past she wanted to leave behind.
One last job. That was the promise. How hard could it be?
