Another glance, a pursing of lips. “... No. I can see the determination in your face. You know what you want and you have the means to obtain it. Most clients think they know what they want- until they hear how long it will take and how much that work will cost. We’ll work out some numbers, of course, and draft a contract. If you’re willing to be patient with the piece then I’m willing to give it my best go.”
A small, pleased smile spread across the psychiatrist’s face. “I think this is the start of a beautiful partnership, Will. I look forward to working with you.”

Summary
Will imagined his death in numerous ways, numerous times. Being chosen as a tribute opened a road of new possibilities, some more horrifying than the others.
He doesn’t want to be torn to pieces like Randall Tier’s prey. He doesn’t want to be burned like Francis Dolarhyde prefers to kill. But most of all he doesn’t want to be caught by Hannibal Lecter, a career tribute with a penchant for eating his victims alive.
Too bad Hannibal seems fixated on him.

Summary
AU in which Will receives a secret admirer with a penchant for writing him poetry and slaughtering the innocent in artistic fashions. No one ever told him that courtship was so bloody or appealing -rather, so bloody appealing? He's a part-time bartender that can't catch a break, but at least he has one loyal customer who doesn't seem to mind bouncing from restaurant to bar to restaurant in order to have his favorite drink made by his favorite person.
There couldn't be a correlation though; Dr. Lecter is an upstanding psychiatrist that just likes his drinks served a certain way, and the Chesapeake Ripper keeps sending love letters in the hopes of one day eating him. One is, quite frankly, flattering, the other...
Will isn't stupid enough to tell anyone that it's also equally flattering, albeit horrifying at the same time. It's up for interpretation.
