"You were singing it for the jubilee!" Wille finally managed to defend himself. "You said Hillerska in the song. How was I supposed to figure out you were singing about me? How would anyone have known that?"
Simon giggled again, shaking his head. The motions of his body went all the way down to his fingers, which played a few stray notes on the piano. Wille loved how when Simon laughed, truly and fully, he did it with everything he had. It was so contagious; even as he was being made fun of, he couldn't help the smile blooming across his face.
"Wille. . ." Simon smiled. "Sweetheart, I'm pretty sure everyone knew the song was about you."
Wille could practically see the blue screen error message in front of his eyes.

this is just an excuse to write simon teasing wille about not realizing the song was about him, after things have calmed down and they just get to be happy. basically, they're ridiculously in love with each other

“Are you now?” She went to pinch him again but he grabbed her hand and kissed it.
“Mmhmm,” Adam murmured against her palm, “it has a table of contents.” He kissed her wrist, his lips moving slowly up her arm. “Physical assault,” kiss, “verbal abuse,” kiss, “excessive personal contact,” kiss, “substance abuse—”
“Whoa. Substance abuse?”
He nodded solemnly. “Sub-Section: Pumpkin Spice.”
Picking up right where Chapter 22 left off, we find out what happened after Olive finally tells Adam she loves him.
