Sethos desperately needs to use the bathroom at his usual coffee shop. The new barista refuses to give him the key without ordering. However, the line is long, and Sethos can't wait. The customer at the front of the line notices the situation and decides to help.

“It wouldn’t be like this if you’d just let me in!” Sethos remembered shouting.
“If you know the whole truth, you’ll leave too,” he said. There was pain in his voice. Sethos wanted to punch him. He wanted to grab him by the shoulders and shake him around. That wasn’t true. It would never be true. He wanted so desperately for the Wanderer to just take him for his word.
“Fine,” Sethos swallowed, preparing his next words. “Tell me or I’ll leave anyway.”

“I like you,” he says and Scaramouche just breathes. “You're really pretty.”
“You don't really know me that well, do you?” he muses and smiles a little. “A mysterious foreign exchange student. Who’s to say I'm not dangerous? Maybe I've manipulated you.”
He smiles the entire time as he says it though, not wanting Sethos to think it might be true. It could be, but it isn't. Sethos smiles back.
“Then I wouldn't care. I’d let myself get manipulated.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah,” he breathes and he's looking down at Scaramouche’s lips.
“That's not very smart,” he whispers and watches, almost in slow motion, as Sethos reaches out a hand and brushes his fingers against Scaramouche’s cheekbone. His fingers are warm in the chilly night.
“I know,” he breathes. “I'm a little bit dumb.”
Scaramouche learns how to let go.

“Why is there a letter on the table?” Alhaitham asked.
Kaveh shrugged. “Why don’t you open it and find out?”
“You could’ve opened it yourself,” Alhaitham retorted, bringing the mug to his lips and sipping.
“It’s addressed to you.” Kaveh slid the envelope over to the Scribe. “It would be rude to open things that are not meant for me.”
“Not to mention illegal,” Alhaitham added as he grabbed it.
He tore the envelope and retrieved the letter inside, only to be met with a surprise.

Summary
Quite honestly, Wanderer could easily sit here the entire day and find nothing else more mentally stimulating. A serene, calming place where he wasn’t to be bothered by any meddling individuals who couldn’t figure out the simplest of tasks.
“It’s a lovely view from up there, is it not?”
And, just like that, Wanderer’s morning was ruined.

or: Perhaps by fate, Wanderer and Kaedehara Kazuha meet on a cool Sumeru morning. Kazuha requests Wanderer to give him a tour of Sumeru City, and Wanderer realizes this is his chance to confess his crimes and atone for his past sins. All the while, he struggles with some confusingly soft feelings he finds he doesn’t quite understand.
