    After finding his son in the woods injured and lying near a dead body, Sheriff Stilinski puts his foot down and decides to send him to live with his aunt for the year, hoping his sister does a better job of teaching him responsibility than he did.

    Stiles isn't entirely on board with this plan, but it's not as if he has any choice in the matter, so he sets off to Mystic Falls.

    Animal attacks end up being the least of his worries.

Now making a home in Beacon Hills, all Lorelei wants to do is get the oil out from under her nails and perhaps go on a date with a good guy.

    If only she had known prior what Beacon Hills would become, perhaps she wouldn't have moved her child at all.

    "So, maybe you've found your home here in Gotham. At least it's not that far, compared to Kansas." Bruce's voice is smooth and steady, his tone low.

    It's hard to keep a straight face at that.

    Clark's lips curve into a fond smile as he chuckles and shakes his head, leaning back against his seat, a hand rubbing across the nape of his neck.

    "Yeah. Maybe I have. The coffee's great here. And the company is really nice." Clark offers a smile as he meets Bruce's eyes, holding his gaze for a beat too long before returning it to his pie.

    He doesn't miss the way Bruce's heart rate stutters at his comment.

    Or, Clark Kent can't do one night stands, and Bruce is just his usual human disaster.

    (This story officially ends at Chapter 5.
    Everything after that will be extra chapters, which I'll post whenever I feel like it!)
