“S’okay,” Keith assures him, voice rougher than it had been for what little use he’d gotten out of it this morning.
It’s not Lance’s job to read Keith’s mind, realize he’s in a little more pain than the usual. Taking inventory now… perhaps Keith should have said something earlier. Tried to get up long enough to find Lance. Sent him a text, maybe.
