Summary
Tommy gets the call after he’s just gotten home from a twenty-four-hour shift. He’d made plans with Hen and Chim to go for drinks that night after getting some rest, it had been a busy shift, but a good one, and they were all eager to debrief over a few pitchers of of beer. He sighs as he realizes he’s going to have to cancel drinks now and come up with some excuse, though everyone will inevitably know the real reason he’s cancelling when he submits the paperwork for a partner’s heat leave. It’s almost not worth it when he thinks about the teasing and questions about the lucky girl he must be secretly dating, and the insistent offers for him to bring her out for drinks to meet the rest of them. It doesn’t matter that he’s an alpha and his partner will be an omega, the fact that his partner is actually a man will still raise a few eyebrows at best, and put a target on Tommy’s back at worst.
Or, Tommy, who is still in the closet, occasionally volunteers at a heat clinic to help omegas through their heat.

Tinn knew this exam period was going to be tougher than usual, but he hadn’t expected it to be this tough. Since both him and Gun were having exams at the same time, with classes both harder and more numerous than before, they had barely had time to actually be boyfriends. Whether it be early-morning cuddles, or stealing kisses and hugs after being apart from each other the whole day, or Tinn managing to convince Gun to play a round of Scrabble, or just getting to watch a movie together—they either didn’t have time for it, or they were too stressed and distracted to be in the mood for it.
If Tinn was completely honest though, the most frustrating thing about all of this was probably that… well… they haven't had sex in almost two weeks now. Two weeks! It was driving Tinn crazy.
