Absolutely amazing fic! It starts all steamy but then hits you with so much plot and references it's amazing! Not only that, but the writing for EVERY CHARACTER is stellar, and Amy's character development???? Absolute peak, I thought she was just gonna be antagonizes but MAN was I wrong!! I'm sad this was interrupted, the story was so interesting!

HOLY DAYUM who thought that Werehog Sonadow could be so... so... MAN! I honestly didn't expect this fic to be so layered and full of parallels, but it was! The wholesome x steamy and (literal) fluff combo honestly broke me, the slow burn and lead up were amazing and that last chapter... damn, I was blushing all the way through.

I don't even know what to say. This fic is fantastic. Even though the last chapter is missing, the story is complete and WOW was it a journey. I feel proud for having predicted the reality swap and the Stranger Things call back and damn was this written well. Tom's chapters in the mental facilities are definitely hard to read but the Other Tom's ones are genuinely so wholesome. Loved every chapter, the lore and the character writing, this fic is one of a kind and I regret nothing.

Sonic Robotnik is the crowned jewel of all of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's accomplishments, not as his oldest son, but as proof that not even certain death can stop his own genius. The mechanical parts surrounding his chest are why he's alive at all and why he carries the nickname 'Metal'. His path has already been laid out for him: go to a college he finds miserable, get a degree he doesn't want, and work for his father to further boost his already insurmountable, environmentally damaging progress. With so little in his control, Metal finds freedom in only one thing: running.
Amy Rose doesn't come from much. Picked off the streets by a doting young woman with a daughter of her own, Amy discovered the love and warmth of a family that works together. Amy gets the chance to enroll in college so she can provide for her family lacking in fortune. Unfortunately, that means she enrolls in a major she completely hates. She finds solace in brightening others' lives, allowing her to forget that she has no real direction of her own.
They know of each other only through brief, unpleasant encounters around campus. Fate permanently brings their lives together when Amy witnesses an event Metal hopes no one would ever see.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO BE UPDATED!!! This college AU is peak, and for once I'm definitely invested in the straight ship involved. Amy is also so sweet and badass in this one while Metal is such a softie, it's so funny!!! Plus all the other characters are super well-written. Love the family dynamics between Amy, Vanilla, Cream and the Chaotix and within the Robotnik Family. So good!

This fic is based off of character moments introduced in the IDW comics, namely the "Reflections" comic, along with the rival interactions and gameplay in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (and a few other games that Metal's appeared in). Ultimately, the story is told through Metal Sonic's perspective. I want to give him more of a range of depth and emotions the comic dances with that haven't really come full circle at the time of this writing
Despite being based off of his character from IDW and tidbits from the games, there are no actual details about the arcs and in-depth knowledge about them isn't necessary. This is a small collection of short stories that may have additions later.

Absolute PEAK literature, I have no words. This is truly, TRULY, a work of art of a fic. Longer than 1,000 pages, I ravenously consumed this in less than a week and I'll be sure to re-read it to get all the foreshadowing. I don't think I'll ever experience again such an emotional rollercoaster. The plot, the characters, the romance, the twists, the time travel shenanigans, the writers... perfect, down to the last minute detail.

The time after the Eclipse Cannon was much more solemn for Sonic. A lot of moments he would become disassociated thinking about everything that had happened and grieving Shadow. While Shadow’s whereabouts were unknown, it was assumed the fall to Earth or the explosion had killed him. Sonic couldn't name the emotions, but he hated how short the time he had with the black and red hedgehog was. To keep his mind busy, Sonic helped his mom at work but that only brings up more memories.
When he tracks down signs of a red and black blur, he finds Shadow seemingly in pain. Sonic will do anything to save Shadow, even if it means risking his own life.OR: Kinda OOC (traumatized/emotional Sonic and Soft/shy Shadow) slowfic of Post-Sonic-Movie-3 Sonic mourning the assumed death of Shadow but finds Shadow in need of his help (or at least that's what he's telling himself). When Sonic gets injured Shadow is the only one who can save him. The two try to navigate their feelings while caught between Sonic's Wachowski/Green Hills home life, and Shadow finding purpose and his new chapter in life after everything. Sweet, shy, and angsty Sonadow content.
