Summary
Ever since Satoru slipped from his life wrapped in a cloak of midnight and silence, Suguru has done nothing but yearn.
At first he tried to soothe it by calling non stop - fearing he had, inadvertently, made a mistake so abominable as to deserve capital punishment. Naïvely, Suguru believed he could still apologize, try to do better - try to fix what had been mishandled. Yet after countless tones giving way to an automatized message in a robotic, monotonous voice, cruel in its carelessness - the flickering flame of his hope slowly died out.
'The number you are trying to reach is not available right now.'
It hasn’t been in over a month.

Summary
A slight shift of his chin along the curve of the junction where Suguru’s shoulder meets his neck, and just the barest tilt of his head to the left is enough to obscure one of his own eyes, so the one kept in the light kind of parallels its tattooed twin. His messy white hair is a halo framing his face, a stark contrast to Suguru’s neatly tied black strands; and his skin is like porcelain caging Suguru’s engraved bronze. Among such monochromia, all the color is kept in Satoru’s eyes, the real one glistening in the half light and the fake one embedded on Suguru’s skin.
Suguru doesn’t notice, not even when the tip of his index finger rises from the dragon’s head to trace the ink of the unseeing eye up from it - from the long white lashes to the round void of the pupil in the center. He doesn’t even flinch when Satoru digs his nail there, scratching at the ink as if wishing to rip it from Suguru’s skin, suddenly sickened by its sight - by the sight of them tangled like threads of silver and gold, by the sudden bile that rises up his throat and prompts him to suddenly ask:“Why did you get my eye tattooed?”
Or, alternatively, a confrontation takes place.

“Now be a good boy and tell me, who do I have to reach out for in here to talk business?”
This time, the kid doesn’t seem surprised by Satoru’s demands and it makes Satoru himself wonder just how typical it is for them to get requests for a further talk — and where do they usually lead to. Appearing shockingly confident the kid grins at him, bouncing back and forth on the ball of his feet as he responds with a wicked wink: “Depends on the kind of business you wish to talk about, sir! May I ask what is it that you want?”
Satoru turns once more, fixing his blue eyes on the tattooed back of the fighter that just beat all the odds to free himself of whatever shackles this hellhole set on him. He’s intrigued, he won’t even try to hide it at this point — he wants to know more about him, he wants to ask where he came from and what he intended to accomplish with the money made by beating other guys into a pulp every night in this place.
But most importantly — he wants to get him out of here. And as such, he lets the kid know:“Ah, you see? That’s easy — I want him.”
Or, alternatively, the satosugu mafia au no one asked for.

Summary
Sukuna attacks first [...] after that, a few failed attempts at hitting the other follow, sweaty skin making it difficult for Suguru to grab Sukuna’s arm and stop the onslaught as the man struggles to land a hit, growing antsy by the second - he only stops when Suguru manages to block a jab to his throat and elbows him high on the side of his head, too close to his eyebrow, accidentally breaking skin too.
“Oi!” Suguru lifts a hand, ready to apologize when Sukuna ignores the thin trail of blood running down his temple and juts his chin out, calling for his full attention as they both catch their breath - the evil glint of Sukuna’s bloodshot eyes give Suguru shivers, his nerves standing on edge as he waits in a half-defensive pose. But Sukuna is so nonchalant when he starts: “Speaking about models and shit… You fucking that pretty model boy?”
Or, alternatively, Suguru has some very important realizations at a few very odd times.

They kinda have a routine now - Satoru appears here from time to time, whenever he needs a reason not to leave everything behind, he warms Suguru’s bed until he’s back, then spreads himself open for him and they desperately fuck until it’s almost impossible to discern where one ends and the other begins.
Because that’s apparently still their thing - despite all those little things, -glimpses of something more-, that keep Satoru awake at night when he’s alone. They just fuck, so passionately Satoru is sure he sees god everytime he’s sitting on Suguru’s cock - but they do just that.
And it’s great, it’s amazing, it’s the best sex Satoru has ever had, -hell, probably the best he’ll ever had-, but sometimes, in moments like this, when the late morning light hits Suguru’s skin and makes the ink over it stand out like living art - sometimes, Satoru craves more.Or, alternatively, the one in which Satoru doesn't run away at sunrise and has an existential crisis over morning sex.
