He turned around in the cabinet (no small feat), and managed to get the door partially closed with the awkward position he was in before promptly making eye-contact with a man that had long pink hair, mussed from sleep.
They stared at each-other through the crack in the door for a moment; wide blue eyes staring up into the confused, bleary deep brown of the person in the doorway. Tommy broke out of his stupor and shut the door hurriedly without a sound.
The man choked. “Wh—”
Tommy almost laughed despite the terror he was in, crawling backwards at lightspeed and throwing himself back into the hallway as he heard fast footsteps approaching the cabinet; latching the false back securely.
or, sbi decides to restore the old victorian house tommy has been staying at, so he does the only logical thing; retreats into the secret passages and lives there. foolproof plan right? wrong.

The trunk clicked and Phil didn’t hesitate before grabbing and lifting the lid.
Wilbur jumped back, barely containing a yelp, Techno taking a small step towards Phil, who was standing staring at the sight in front of them.
A small boy, with fluffy golden curls, bundled in one of the blankets Phil had insisted they keep in the back for emergencies.
And yet, even under the pools of the blanket the boy was swimming under, it wasn’t enough to hide what Phil had latched onto.
Small wings, covered in beautiful, snow-white feathers sprouted from the boy’s back.
