Summary
“To feel sadness is to live… but as long as you are alive, the future is a blank page.”
The future Merlon spoke of, the great length of time between the death of the Void and Mario’s return to Flipside, eventually and inevitably became the past. But despite the Shaman’s words, it appeared to remain a blank page, a quiet, barren interval. After the page had turned, no one seemed to want to turn back. No one wanted to acknowledge what was written. No one wanted to acknowledge that anything was written at all. No one in Flipside, and no one outside of it.
But the world doesn’t stop turning for anyone or anything. Dead, alive, or gone.

Summary
These thieves, these murderers, they flock the streets, shield themselves in mountain rock, stalk the innocent from the withering grasses of the plains. But the blood that stains your hands, stains your gun, paints you just like it does them, it doesn’t seep past the skin. It’s not from within, who you are.
You kill for a reason. Rob for a reason. A good one.
You, Dutch, are different. Everyone around you seems to think the same.
And that’s enough.

Summary
Five years have come and gone since the Dark Prognosticus’ prophecy was thwarted, leaving some filled with joy, and others forever left to deal with the traumatic aftermath of the story that was told. Amidst the pain, however, sprung forth many friendships from forgiveness and the making of amends. Life was slowly starting to be stitched back together, and Luigi finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel as the sixth year came closer and closer.
Unbeknownst to him, someone else was seeing a light, and this light wasn’t a metaphor.
