“Forgive me father for I have sinned,” a very familiar voice said. Yoo Joonghyuk felt his temple throb.

“Today I tripped an old lady. She was being rude to a barista and I figured she deserved retribution but I realize now it was probably a sin even if she was an asshole,” the man from behind the divider mused. Yoo Joonghyuk took a deep breath and reminded himself that he was a priest and he didn't fight churchgoers just for being annoying.

“I also stole the raccoon that’s been ravaging my trash and then locked him in my boss’s car. He yelled at one of the interns and made them cry and that’s just unholy if you ask me,” the man continued, either completely oblivious to how close Yoo Joonghyuk was to strangling him, or uncaring.

“Oh, wait, I also punched a man for being homophobic but that’s just the usual you know?” Yoo Joonghyuk gripped his pants’ fabric and took a deep breath.

“No, I don't know,” Yoo Joonghyuk grit out.

    Summary

"Thought I'd find you up here." Kafka slinks to his side, trail of smoke from her lit cigarette curling with every movement. "Birdie, hm?"

Blade glances sideways at her. He knows that tone, and for as many times as they've played this game, he's learned her rules by heart. The easiest way to win is to simply not play. "Far as I was aware, it didn't matter who we see."

"Hate to interrupt your little soap opera melodrama," Silver Wolf's voice crackles to life in their earpieces, interrupting the moment, "but we have about ten minutes until showtime and Sunday's been disconnected for like at least the last twenty."
