Sandor Clegane is trying to rebuild his life after the loss of his vision at the hands of his brother and the loss of Sansa Stark, the love of his life. One day, their paths cross. But what about the threat of the drug epidemic called "winter"? What about certain people disappearing without a trace?
Can our two heros find love and solve more than one mystery?
If you are in the mood for a fic that is all about people finding love after having suffered horribly at the hands of others, a strong Sandor and Arya friendship, Sansa and Dany working together in a grand finale, Jaime and Brienne happy and in love, a plot with unexpected twists that actually makes sense (or so commenters said the last time around) and lots and lots of SanSan... this fic is for you, too.

Sandor Clegane decides to move back to his ancestral home in the Westerlands, only to find out that it was recently sold to a certain Sansa Stark.

“What – what do you mean?” Lord Connington doesn’t sound too convinced, but he’s listening intently, or so it seems from the frown on his face.
“That in order for us all to live, Aerys Targaryen must die not sooner and not later than he did, but Rhaegar must live,” Bran says tiredly, “along with Elia Martell and her children. Whether Lyanna Stark does or not is irrelevant, as long as all three children live and know they are the heads of the dragon. It’s no job for someone like me – I can only walk if I visit the past or the future, not if I want to live in it. How useless it is that one has such powers but then cannot even walk, isn’t it?”
“You – you mean to – send us to the past?” Brienne asks, barely audible.

Summary: Written for the Sansan Fest 2015. Original prompt was for an AU, arranged marriage fic in which Sandor has a reputation for whoring but is, in fact, really body conscious and a virgin. . . . big boots to try and fill. My usual triage of angst, drama and smut.
Rating: M for Sandor language, smut, hints of abuse and some faked dub con.
