A ritual was painstakingly crafted to both summon and bind the powerful being to his will. With the Justice League defeated, Darkseid's victory is assured as he collects the final component. A sacrifice is needed to complete the ritual. He decides to have them watch as one of their loved ones serves a greater purpose. There is no higher honor than becoming the vessel of the Ghost King.

    Danny just wanted to enjoy a nice date with his boyfriend. After being kidnapped from his night out, Danny decides to have some fun. He never did get to finish his meal after all.
