Summary
Though the house large, the faint sound of piano drifted up the stairs and through the wooden walls, joining in with the chirping of crickets sneaking in from cracks in the windows, and Bunny’s breathing, to create a song so peaceful that Henry let his eyes close with Bunny holding his face, being about as gentle as his best friends fumbling hands could manage. Henry made sure to stay still, to preserve the comfort by not scaring off Bunny, making him run.

Bunny, unusually quiet, simply lay his head on Henry’s shoulder, starting to sway slowly along with the other. Henry felt soft puffs of air against the side of his neck, the tickle of Bunny’s hair against his jaw. His muscles relaxed, shoulders lowered. Bunny’s warm body against his, chest rising and falling with his breaths.
