Summary
Graves had always imagined having a pup or two, maybe three if childrearing turned out to be less horrible than he suspected it was. He wasn't entirely sure how he let Newt convince him to have this many children, but at least they were well behaved, gentle little things.
Okay, that was a total lie. His kids were a menace, pure and simple. Plus, Graves was pretty sure his eldest hated him, no matter what Newt said. As for the others-- well, let's just say it was a good week when Graves only had to put out one fire and confiscate three poisonous creatures.

He's now got to deal with the aftermath of Grindelwald's deception and the webs of an underground crime ring that seems to cover the whole goddam city. The last thing he has time for is some ridiculous romantic drivel about soulmates so no, no thank you, he's not interested.
All the same though if Newt could just stay out of danger for one tiny second - just one! - then that'd be grand, because Graves is too busy to keep saving his life. Dammit.

Summary
When Nathan restarts the photon he ends up in another time stream but in this one he can find no evidence of Jack ever being the Sheriff of Eureka. In the meantime two serious events had befallen Eureka over the past year, causing problems for Global Dynamics in particular. Nathan had arrived in a time stream where half the state of Oregon had been declared a disaster zone following a major earthquake in what should have been a stable area. Most of the Eurekans had managed to reach Global Dynamics in time and were safe in the underground parts of the facility but, for the second time in a year, Global Dynamics was buried under tons of rubble. As he looks over the differences between his time stream and this one, Nathan realizes the major difference was the missing Jack Carter, and is surprised at how much this loss has affected him personally.

Jack Carter and his daughter Zoe experience a pretty disastrous start to their road trip vacation when they get completely lost out in the middle of nowhere and then crash the car. They seek refuge in the nearby town of Eureka and discover a whole new world of 'peculiars' - people with extraordinary gifts, hiding from the rest of the world and, more importantly, from the monsters that hunt them.
Of course, it's just Jack's luck that the monsters chose that moment to find them and he gets dragged into the town's fight for their lives, discovering his own gift along the way as well as having to cope with his intense reaction's to Eureka's stupidly handsome mayor.- Language:
