Summary
One singular bullet.
It was one bullet that pierced through Johnny’s skull.
Time seemed to stop. Gyro could see Johnny’s body slowly falling from his horse, light as a feather. It reached the ground with a resounding thud.
His ears ringed. He could hear a scream, but it wasn’t Johnny’s, nor Ringo’s. Someone has thrown his steel ball, now flying towards Ringo. His ear, it got blown up by the steel ball.
The scream had not stopped. Gyro was starting to wonder if this was a dream, because it certainly did not feel real.
Or: that time when Johnny and Gyro faced Ringo, and Gyro's spiraling thoughts as he sees Johnny falling dead to the ground.

Forgiveness was Bruno's biggest virtue, that had been what had brought Leone closer to him in the first place. But just because he was forgiving with others, it didn't mean Bruno applied the same forgiveness to himself.
For that reason, there were times when their secret act of love would become a way of atonement, a search for absolution.
And in those times, Bruno would breathlessly whisper into Leone's ear: “Perdonami, Padre, perché ho peccato.”
