She feels practically ready to kneel at Jackie’s feet in front of the whole room, nose rubbing against her thighs, begging: please, please, let us do it anyways. Even if it's just the two of us. right at the top of the turn of the season, some convenient late night sleepwalking saves wiskayok's own queen bee from becoming dead cabin guy's newest ghostly roommate. with jackie saved by the bell, the yellowjackets consider coming to whatever the canadian version of jesus is, and they realize they'd better show the world just how seriously they take the phrase "there's no dying in soccer."
or: a rewrite of season 2 where jackie doesn't die, the ferocity of girlhood perseveres, the team ends up banding together against the wilderness to protect one another, and they basically just play like a fucking team and win. things could really be so much worse.
