    Enter Tony Stark, (also) an orphan and not-so masked superhero. He's in shambles after...well, everything, but it'll be fine. They're fine.

    Or Peter hacks into Stark Industries to try to tell Tony about a weird weapons dealer floating around in Queens. Things get complicated. Really complicated. Maybe too complicated for either of them to handle.

    Of course, Peter Parker becomes an intern for Stark Industries, or just Tony Stark. Except, for same damn reason, Tony Stark wants to work at the Avengers Tower. It's great. Really wonderful for Peter, who has a secret night job as Spider-Man, the masked vigilante. He's determined to keep his mentor and the Avengers from finding this out, though.

    Something not expected was for there to be more than an ordinary internship as Peter finds himself becoming closer to the Avengers, especially Iron Man himself. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea if they knew who he really was? They seemed to like Spider-Man well enough.

    There are very few things that manage to capture Tony Stark's attention for more than five minutes at a time, but a month after deciding to unmask Spider-Man, and he's still reasonably obsessed with figuring out his identity. Okay, maybe a tad more than reasonably obsessed, even by his own standards.

    But at least he has a brand new intern to keep him distracted for the time being. Even if the kid doesn't respond to his own name half the time, and dodges every somewhat personal question Tony throws his way, he's kind of growing fond of him.

    Maybe he really is going crazy.

     

    Or: Peter Parker is confident he can keep his three identities separate. It's not like he has billionaire tracking his every move, or anything.
