“You don’t really get to decide.”
Squall pinched the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes for a second. Why did things have to be so complicated all the time? His finger skimmed the edge of his scar and he thought back to the fight that felt so incredibly long ago. It had been a good match, despite Seifer’s cheap shot. Or maybe because of it.
“Fine. But only under the condition that I get to choose who it is,” Squall said bluntly.

Summary
Seto Kaiba doesn't do emotion. Or feelings. And he especially doesn't do relationships. For once, he feels completely out of his depth, and somehow it took this, of all things, to make him realize that maybe he has more friends than he'd ever properly admit to having. But that doesn't mean he has to like it. A 5 + 1 fic.
Or: The five times Seto Kaiba talks to the wrong people for advice, and the one time he finally talked to the person he just should have gone to in the first place.

They didn’t know how it all began. They didn’t know when the violent punches and the kicks they threw at each other transformed into hands exploring the other man’s body, nails biting into delicate skin, firm grips resting over hips. They didn’t know when the insulting words they shouted at each other, mouths pulled into a sneer while only looking at the other became even harsher kisses, biting each other’s lips sharply, painting them bright scarlet, tongues fighting over dominance. Instead of words, they fought with loud moans reverberating off the walls and wildly exploring hands scratching sensitive skin, bruising and hurting the flesh, marks left behind on the pale surface.

He had read plenty of stories in which a kiss could cause fireworks, a kiss could break a spell. It could bring someone back from the dead. He didn’t think Leo’s mouth on his was anything like he had read about before.
This was a story where he might, at the end of it, be happy.
