“That’s the second time this week.”
“I know…” Minho sighed as he rubbed his hand over his face before running his fingers through his hair and climbed back into their bed. The warm scent of caramelised apples had now turned slightly rotten. Most likely due to Jisung’s upset state.
“We should really get a lock.” Jisung huffed and nodded as he shuffled over to Minho’s side of the bed and fell into his open arms. A strong scent of caramel enveloping them as Minho tried to calm Jisung down.
Minho let out a small chuckle as he wrapped an arm around Jisung’s shoulder and flicked off the light.
“If we get a lock then we’d have to deal with thinking everything is an emergency with the way Yumi acts. She’ll claim cuddles are an emergency.” Minho shuffled himself down on the bed to lay down, letting Jisung rest on top of him.“But that is an emergency.” Jisung protested as he clung onto Minho to prove his point.

The soaked man finally bursts into tears out of relief and releases some guilt as well. His face was getting all pale but for his round cheeks, an intense cherry hue in them.
Minho freezes, not quite knowing what to do. Truth be told, he has no idea how to deal with people crying next to him. Those who claimed to be more empathetic than him used to tell him that, when someone is crying, the proper thing to do is to embrace them and hold them in your arms, providing them with emotional support. So yeah, he knows the theory, but the practice is a different matter. The man is a stranger to him after all, he doesn’t feel like overstepping his boundaries, and yet...
(in which Minho is a vet very fond of J. One's radio show since his voice feels warm and always soothes the animals —and maybe Minho too. And one day at closing time, a soaked man on the verge of a panic attack asks for his help and Minho immediately feels the need to take care of him, even if he doesn't know his name.)
