Summary
Mike never had many friends. He was always the loser who sat alone at his own lunch table, or was the last to partner up in gym class.
It didn’t particularly bother him, not until that moment in time, as he looked out the window and watched the trees blur together in one green smudge on a canvas. He tuned out his parents, who chatted idly as they drove further and further away from Hawkins.
It was then and there, that Mike Wheeler made the executive decision to change.
- Or -
After Mike attempts to come out to his father, shit hits the fan and he scrambles to land on his feet… by joining Sigma Chi.

Summary
Mike puts the car into park, but doesn’t tear his gaze away from the windshield. “Say it.”
Will splutters. “Say what?”
“Like we’re what, Will? Say it. Why do I make your boyfriend so nervous?”
“You’re being a jerk.” He looks down and picks at a loose thread on his sweater.
Mike is being a jerk, but he’s just tired. And Will is here in Mike’s car in the middle of nowhere, protected by the growing darkness of the evening, and goddamnit, Mike wants to hear him say it. He wants to hear Will say Mike isn’t better.
Or: Mike and Will have been Mike and Will for sixteen years. Mike is not going to Will let someone else ruin that.

Summary
This book is an intimate retelling of the events following the renowned 1970s rock band Sorcerer & The Six's rise to fame—and their abrupt split while on tour in Chicago on July 12, 1979. From the humble beginnings of the Brave Brothers and Will Byers to their legendary run at the top of the charts, their career as a band was short-lived compare to the mark they left behind on rock ‘n’ roll.
Lead vocalist Will Byers and frontman Mike Wheeler exploded on the stage with a messy, kaleidoscopic bang. The bandmates, Lucas Sinclair, Dustin Henderson, and Max Mayfield, as well as band photographer and creative director Jane Hopper, were among the collateral.
This story aims for a literary approach, but in it lies the truth. As deceptive as the most famous among us can be, they cannot hide from themselves as we travel back to 1972 and follow Sorcerer & The Six all the way to their inevitable end in 1979.Or;
A Stranger Things/Daisy Jones & The Six AU. Love, lust, and loss work in tandem as they come to terms with their overwhelming fame. Whether it be a moment tucked in the privacy of a hotel room or happening in front of tens of thousands of fans on stage, you see it all.

Summary
Casually, Mike glances at Will's profile, finds him staring at the screen in deep concentration, a pen in his free hand that he's tap-tap-tapping against his mouth. Mike watches him for a long, long moment, his mind carefully empty. Colors play across Will's face, bathe him in yellow, in white, in gray, changing the colors of his eyes from green to brown to black, kaleidoscopic. The guy on the TV keeps going on and on about things Mike doesn't hear.
When he can't bear it a second longer, Mike very pointedly shifts his arm. They only have so long until the film ends, until the bell rings and they split apart, Mike heading in one direction for Trig, Will in the other for his art class. The longer Will dallies, the more time they lose, and Mike's not letting him waste another second.
It's stupid, how much he wants this.
-x-x-x-
Or: Will Byers comes back. . .wrong. Influenced by the Upside Down and so, so very hungry.
Or: Mike Wheeler knows a thing or two about starving, about wanting things (or people) he shouldn't want.
