Summary
Dan Heng should have been paying more attention when he walked into the communal showers.
In his defense, Dan Heng normally didn’t have to. Every single member of the Astral Express made specific sounds while they were using the showers that he had long since memorized. Blade, on the other hand, was deathly silent in comparison.
But, now that he hadn’t been paying attention and had simply walked in on...that, Dan Heng just couldn’t get a certain image out of his mind.

Dan Heng sighed and shook his head. “Blade and I…” The look Dan Heng had in his eyes was wistful and a touch sad, which was not that much different from the look Dan Heng normally had, but March couldn’t help the way her heart clenched in pity. “We once were involved in something terrible…”
Gasping loudly, March covered her mouth with both hands, just to show Dan Heng exactly how incredibly shocked she was. She needed Dan Heng to know that she was actively listening and cared deeply about his feelings, which she did, because she was a good friend like that. “No!”
