"Did not." Sunoo opened the balm and applied a layer on his lips, smacking them so they settled.
"Did too."
"No, I just pecked you."

Sunoo rolled his eyes and leaned in to shut Sunghoon up.

The third act was playing right in front of their eyes, half of the movie having already passed, but Sunghoon was just now understanding. The people around murmured, reacting to the slaps in the face that the movie was giving them, telling them they were monsters, asking them why didn’t it even occur to them?
“Is it sunny where you are?”
“It’s sunny here!”
Instead, Sunghoon tried to keep his shaking hands from being noticed by Jungwon as they continued watching, entranced, even as the movie turned out to be nothing that they could have ever expected.

The six safeguards around him were walking, alert but not alarmed. They couldn’t feel it.
Sunoo stopped walking in front of a big plaza that had a pavilion, a pretty fountain, and a sizable stage on the other side. It would be a great zone for festivities or events if only it wasn’t so deserted.
He could maybe attribute the emptiness to his assumption of some kind of instruction to not disturb his entrance to the kingdom, but…
The emptiness was a feeling deeper than just the lack of people right at that moment in time. A long time had passed since the last time there was a big event or even an important number of people in that plaza.
