Summary
Jasper Raynard, age 27, has been living a rather content life. He had his business: a tailor shop that catered to all walks of life and would make matching doll outfits for their humans. He had a cat and had his hobbies of cosplay and the SCA. Life was good as he saved up money for his transition surgeries, until he finds out that his Aunt had passed away. He falls asleep before talking to the inheritance people and falls down the rabbit hole to a world where magic is common enough that there are several prominent schools for it, instead of having to lurk in the shadows of society. Armed with what he knows as an old family gift and spell, he wrangles these hormonal, selfish teenagers to work together and beats the toxic mindset out of them.

And it really was just a cough. At least, until it wasn’t. Leona walked down the hallway alone, feeling his movements grow more sluggish with each step, until he felt the need to lean on the wall for the support. He kept hacking up a storm, and before long, he felt the dry hacks grow wet, as if they would choke him…
He coughed into his arm and felt a sticky liquid leave his mouth. He looked at it, and for a moment, staring was all that he could do. The stuff that came out of his mouth looked like black ink.
Well…that was unfortunate.
It was just another ordinary Saturday at NRC, until four students get very sick, very suddenly, all at about the same time. Crazy coincidence, or something more? Unfortunately for these students, their lives have too much of a proven track record of being out to get them for this to be anything other than the latter.
At least, this time, there may be someone around to catch them if they fall.
