‘I’ve never loved anything the way I love you, Steve Harrington,’ Eddie says, dark brown eyes moving between Steve’s own. ‘This isn’t the moment, sweetheart.’

Summary
Adjusting to life in Hawkins after Vecna was… difficult, to say the least. Being thrown back into a sense of normalcy after living under the constant looming terror of the Upside Down and all the monsters within it came with an overwhelming sense of relief and—strangely enough—boredom.
So of course Steve Harrington simply had to find a way to throw his world upside down yet again when an unexpected friendship with an unlikely person blossoms into something more.
