Summary
To everyone's shock, the prison riots worked. Phillip Turpin is arrested and Benjamin is free after over fifteen years of a false charge. He begins taking back his life, beginning with his daughter. However, the word "father" tastes like poison in Johanna's mouth after what her guardian did her to and a flighty girl always has her wings outstretched.
Or: Benjamin gets his daughter back, but he's used to being the parent of an infant. Not a traumatized teenager.

The Bovary Box in the novel itself is a supposed miraculous invention that Madame Bovary’s bumbling husband Charles thinks will somehow cure the medical suffering of another character. In other words, a Bovary Box is something, an object, event, or location, that you think will somehow miraculously produce happiness, though it usually makes the situation worse.
