A dag ago, Dazai tried to kill himself again.
Chuuya, like always, had found him.
So here was said mackerel, waking up in a soft and warm bed, staring at the ceiling for a while, swimming in nothingness — nihility. Chuuya leans over him to catch the bastard's attention when the light hits him so right Dazai starts hallucinating. He looks like an angel.
or Dazai is so starstruck in his post attempted delirious state he calls Chuuya an angel and shamelessly stares at him.

Captured by an enemy organization, Dazai witnesses Chuuya get hurt in one of the most horrible possible ways, unable to stop it.
Dazai takes care of his partner and picks up the pieces in the aftermath.

"If you've ever heard anything about us, you'd know it's quite the opposite, Hideyuki."
"Let's test this," Hideyuki says, "I want whatever important information you can provide regarding all of the Port Mafia's weakspots. If you don't... well, you're intelligent. Do you see where this is going?"
