“Fuck, I missed you,” Sam sighs into your hair.
“Missed you too.”
You two embrace for a long moment. Your arms, wrapped around his neck, help hide your embarrassingly excited smile as you press a quick kiss against his cheek.
“Three weeks is way too long,” Sam says and you laugh.
“I’m coming with you next time,” you tell him. “I’ll be your groupie.”
Sam chuckles at the thought.
“You would’ve been bored after a day,” he says as he steps back to look you in the face.
“Bored? With you? Never.”
Or… When Sam returns home from a month long “tour”, you two are eager to make up for lost time.
