Summary
He looks around the room, immediately picking up a candlestick holder as a weapon, before walking slowly toward the noise.
The knocking intensifies as he rounds the corner, and—
“Hell no,” Steve says and begins to turn around. It’s over. It’s supposed to be over.
The banging gets louder, more frantic, and now that Steve knows, he can hear his voice, too. “Steve Harrington, don’t leave me outside like this.”
“Nope,” Steve shakes his head. “Absolutely not. This is not real.”

Summary
“I’m in a crisis and I need your help.”
Buck looks over to Eddie, whose eyebrows are furrowed in concentration, completely ignoring the conversation in favor of fighting with the double-sided tape. He clearly isn’t going to get support from his husband, so he turns back to the phone in his hand. “Okay, what do you need?”
“Jee is in her ‘go through every closet to find Christmas gifts’ phase and Bee is clinging to us more than ever, so we haven’t been able to move or wrap their gifts. I know Christmas is in a few days and you’re going to be up to your neck is cooking dinner, but-”
“You need us to wrap your gifts,” Buck finishes, looking over at Eddie once again and mouthing sorry when he’s met with wide, panicked eyes.

Summary
Buck loves giving gifts—it’s something that he prides himself in, really. He’s not saying that he’s an expert, but he’s really, really good at picking that one thing that someone needs and wants.
So, the fact that he’s standing in the middle of a department store, empty handed and a growing sense of unease is really throwing him for a loop. “I’m looking, but nothing here is speaking to me.”
Eddie laughs from the other end of the call, “That’s what shopping for a teenager will do to you.”
…
orBuck goes Christmas shopping and all is NOT merry and bright.

Summary
As it turned out, to Eddie’s complete downfall probably, Hen and Karen were not sensible people after a few glasses of wine. Instead, they were smart and clever and absolutely diabolical and Eddie? Eddie was shockingly willing to go along with anything their brilliant, twisted minds came up with.
And really, he only had himself to blame for dodging their questions and mumbling out the horrible half-truth that he wanted to date instead.
❤️🔥
When Eddie was first convinced to make a dating profile, he never expected to match with the person he wanted the most. Sort of.

Buck quickly grabbed the phone and was about to double click to end the call when he noticed.

“Eddie?” Buck called from the kitchen, eyes glued to screen as the name disappeared and turned into a missed call notification.
“Did you find it?”
“Yeah,” Buck responded, just loud enough to be heard. He stalked out of the kitchen, phone clutched in his hand as it hung loosely at his side. “I found it.”
-----
Buck finds out Eddie's kept his contact the same for their entire friendship and feels a certain way about it.

Summary
“I-I didn’t say time loop,” Buck says. “How’d you know it was a time loop?”
Eddie laughs, and it’s electric, not the soft, gentle thing that lights up Buck’s insides, but something charged like a trip wire. “You said dreaming about living the same day, that’s a time loop.”
“No,” Buck says. “I said dreaming something that happens the next day.”
Eddie groans. “It doesn’t matter. I just knew where you were gonna go with it, and-and yeah, I’ve had weird dreams before. You probably just need a little more sleep – didn’t you say you’d been having trouble?”
This is not what he needed. Usually, Eddie would ask a few calming, leading questions, and get him somewhere more stable, but this… it’s like Eddie’s ten steps ahead of him and Buck doesn’t know how to catch up.

Summary
Eddie listens to the voicemail later. Buck sounds like he’s at a grocery store, absentmindedly talking into the phone. “Oh, I guess you’re with your sisters. Sorry to miss you. I just wanted to tell you about this call we had last night, but I gotta hear your reactions, so, later. Okay, uh, I guess I’ll just call back. Or text.”
It ends abruptly, without a goodbye. Eddie replays it a second time, closes his eyes as he sits in the truck. For a moment, he can pretend Buck is sitting in the passenger seat next to him. For a moment, Eddie is back in Los Angeles and his best friend is dragging him through the grocery store.
The voicemail ends, Eddie opens his eyes, and the fantasy breaks. Eddie is still in El Paso, parked in front of the house he’s renting, and there’s no one in the passenger seat with him.
Eddie moves to Texas. Buck moves into his house. There's a love story somewhere in here.

Summary
If Buck could go back to all those weeks ago and tell himself that this idea would place at the top of the list of his monumentally stupid ideas, he would do it in a heartbeat. He would knock some sense into his own head, or let Maddie do it for him.
But here he is now, and a time machine, unfortunately, hasn’t been invented yet.
Here he is now, with Eddie boring into his eyes after that. After realizing he’s been caught red-handed. Except, the implication Eddie’s just made means he’s been sitting on this. And, holy hell.
Eddie breathes out, his chest puffing out noticeably.
“Not so quick to answer when the tables are turned, are you?”

Summary
27 years after the summer of 1989, Bill Denbrough is still living in his parents' old house. When a boy ends up dead right at the corner of Jackson and Witcham, he knows it's time to call everyone home.
The losers come back to Derry.
This fic is my own interpretation of how I speculate Chapter 2 might have gone. It is the opposite of Chapter 2 compliant, there may be small nods but no real spoilers - instead I'm treating this as a sequel to the 2017 film and a part of my own verse.
