"There's no safer place for you than here," Dean assures him, as the impala climbs upwards, the road turning narrower and bendier. "It's a hunter's guesthouse, kind of. Really quiet area. No one will ask questions."

As Cas is ordered to leave the bunker, he doesn’t end up at the Gas n’ Sip. Instead, he becomes a worker at a hunter’s guesthouse, situated in the middle of nowhere - where time appears to stand still, and he is left with an aching human body, relentless human chores, and recurring nightmares that feel distinctly like memories.
