Shouto blinks, processing the question. He sounds skeptical when he asks, “You sure you want to spend that much time with me? You used to say being around me makes you lose brain cells.”
Katsuki snorts. “And being around me that much might make you more of an asshole. I’m a major dick, sometimes.”
Shouto huffs a small laugh, and then he smiles. Quiet falls into the night, and Katsuki almost thinks Shouto thought he was joking. But after several minutes, he speaks again.
“Sure, Major Dick,” Shouto says, “Let’s be roommates.”

“Bakugo. I’m being serious.” Kirishima grips both his shoulders and looks him straight in the eyes. “You two have been dancing around each other for years. You’re never gonna get anywhere until one of you makes a move. So unless you want to sit around and wait for Midoriya to do something, the ball is in your court.”
Or, UA holds a New Years Eve party each year for the faculty and staff. As a new teacher, Izuku is beside himself with nerves about the event, but inviting Katsuki just might make the evening a little more enjoyable.

Katsuki stood there, watching as Deku waved and walked off, leaving him behind.
‘Everyone is special’—means no one’s special. That’s what he’d told him.
He shoved his hands in his pockets, scowling at the empty space Deku left behind. The idiot never stopped waving, never stopped smiling, like he didn’t know how much it dug under Katsuki’s skin. Or maybe he did. Damn nerd. Always charging forward, acting like being left behind wasn’t an option.
Katsuki clicked his tongue. He hated it. Hated how much it mattered.
