Summary
In a universe where an unknown source warns The Order of the Phoenix about Peter Pettigrew and Dumbledore tells them that Voldemort, using dark magic, had managed to obtain a kind of connection to James and Lily through Wormtail, the pair decides, that for Harry's safety, they will have to leave and go into hiding without him.
It went without saying that both Remus and Sirius were the ones to take Harry in. There wouldn’t have been any other person’s hand they would have put Harry and his well being into. Nobody else they would have trusted with their son. Not even over their dead bodies.
