Summary
The buzzing stopped. Something screaming in Buck’s brain tilted and swayed before tipping over and opening his mouth before he could grab a hold of it and set it right.
“I’m getting a divorce!” Is what spills out.
Silence. Dead air. All eyes swivel to look at him and Buck is seven, ten, thirteen and jumping in front of his big sister’s bullet.
So - the thing is, Buck is not getting a divorce. Buck is not married. Buck is not in a relationship. Buck’s mouth is opening again against his will.
“I’m getting a divorce,” he doubles down.
[Buck and Eddie get divorced. Kind of]

This fic came to me in a flu-curated fever dream inspired by the Adam Sandler rom com Just Go With It. I do not enjoy Adam Sandler films, unless I am feverish when they become the only thing I am willing to watch. I do not understand this phenomenon either.
Also this is a canon divergence au in the sense that I cannot remember the overarching plot points of the arcs I am playing with. I can’t even remember what season Boston is from. Just go with it?

- Evidence LS-081225-01
VHS Tape
No sound availableFlashes of static accompany a droning buzzing sound. The picture flickers to life.
The room is dark, lit only by a weak singular light source from above.
In the centre of the frame a man is tied to a chair. His head is folded down to show matted blonde curls.
A second figure walks into shot from behind the camera. His face is hidden by a black ski mask. He pulls the hair of the unknown victim back to show his face to the camera. He is bloodied and bruised, but the fluttering of his closed eyelids prove him to be alive.

Summary
He was cold. That was the first thing he became aware of as he came to. Maddie always took his smaller hands between her own, encompassing them and rubbing warmth back where the Hershey winter and chilled them. But this wasn’t Hershey. This wasn’t snow melting in his palms and sinking into his tender skin. This was cold like metal.
Buck groaned. The sound echoed.

Summary
Two Bucks walk parallel along the same street in LA in two different places, having two conversations with two Bobby Nashes. It could be the start of the universe’s most confusing joke.
[The one where, due to vague sci-fi reasons and timeline shenanigans, Buck Buckley switches bodies with Evan Nash]
Set during the lawsuit, but pretty hit or miss with plot accuracy. Buddie is kind of hinted at, queerbait style, but honestly Buck has too much going on here to unpack all that.
