His job was to make food, serve food, deal with more problematic hikers, clean everything a dozen times a day, fix broken showers, throw out the trash, transport the supplies from the small town down the mountain to the shelter, find and dispose of vodka bottles found scattered around the premises.. and so on.
Thus, needless to say, when Jason saw Dick Grayson for the first time since he was fifteen, he was too exhausted to react properly. ‘Properly’, as in, at all.
Something is after Dick and Wally - something ancient and terrifyingly hungry. Fortunately, they have no trouble finding a guide to help them scour the mountains in search of the mysterious monster - the problem is, said guide is set on hating everything about them. But it's not like Dick has done anything to prompt this, right? Hell, this was his first time meeting that Jason guy! What could he possibly have against him?

Summary
Sometimes, just the knowledge that you were seen by somebody, at some point of your life, is enough to make you keep going. Jason comes to Gotham and makes his debut as the infamous Red Hood, thinking that his journey is destined to be a lonely one. The people he stumbles across prove him wrong.
And sure, maybe in the end it doesn't make a difference. His fate is already written - a brutal confirmation of his worst fears that manifests itself in a father making a terrible, terrible choice, in a nightmare-inducing laughter, in a bomb and a disowned son, left back in the ruble.
But the thing was, Jason never expected a fine end for himself. However, to be known outside your tragedy, before the play ends, and the actors step off the stage - that's something that he never thought he'll be allowed. And frankly, even knowing what was to come, he wouldn't have had it any other way.

Summary
There’s not really a point in owning a car, especially with the cost of insurance. With the threat of student debt looming overhead like a cloud, Bernard can’t afford to buy a car without help, and there’s no way he’ll ever ask Tim.
So Bernard doesn’t really drive. He’s happy to let his weirdly specific driving skills get swept under the rug, because the thing he has with Tim still feels delicate and new, and he doesn’t want to ruin it by bringing up that his uncle was in a gang and hey, he just happened to teach Bernard how to drive. Bernard wants to avoid any kind of conversation around crime in Gotham, actually. Especially after what happened in high school.
It’s not like he’s ever going to need to drive a getaway car, anyway. As far as Bernard is concerned, it’ll never come up.
Bernard learned to drive from his henchman uncle. The last place he expects to use this skill is at a dinner with his boyfriend's family.
