The Bedine, known to Wizards across Faerun as a cult, dwell in the desert of the Anauroch amongst the ruins of the fallen Netherese Empire. Mystra once took their best and brightest, and now the Bedine live in fear of her - revile her as the Harlot of Spells and hide from her gaze. Cutting through the centre of the desert is the Black Road, able to take wandering Bedine into the arms of the Zhentarim. None of that matters when you’re only a few days away from being a Mindflayer, though.

Now that Act 2 is over, and the mysteries of her past are revealed, it's time for Turmeric and her gang of tadfools to venture bravely forth into Baldur's Gate and put an end to the Absolute once and for all.
Even if everyone's on edge about Turmeric potentially dying again - and seem to be doing everything in their power to stop even the chance of that from happening - with some good communication, this is going to go way smoother than than their last conflict against a Chosen.
Because, as everyone knows, communication is totally this group's strong suit.Aka: Turmeric deserves nice things and gets them (for the most part)

Summary
Echo has lived her life tucked away in the forests of Tethir, learning magic through the pulse of nature and the songs of creation. She's good with magic, but not people, which isn't really a problem until she's scooped up by mind flayers and has to get along with six strangers lest they all share a tentacle-y doom. And she manages to get along with most of them -- but then there's Gale of Waterdeep. Despite a terrible first impression, she finds he is actually much kinder than all the mansplaining would suggest.
This is a series of relationship scenes about my weird little mushroom hermit, a wizard who shows compassion and arrogance really can coexist, and how academic rivalry is like first base for wizards.
