Summary
As wartime birthdays in outer space go, Lance is having a decent one so far. But his friends seem to be keeping something from him, and he can’t figure out what it is until Red shows an interest in a visiting Blade ship.
“Keith!” Lance beams, not fully able to believe his eyes. “What are you doing here?”
“I heard a rumor it’s July 28th somewhere, and I happened to be in the sector.” He shrugs, unable to subdue his own smile; it merely takes on an adorable coy quality. “Thought I might as well drop by.”
“Hey!” Pidge complains from the doorway. “Don’t discredit the months of work it took for us to orchestrate this. All that planning, and you’re still late!”
“We’ve been stalling for hours, man!” Hunk’s laughter betrays his feigned annoyance. “Did you at least bring the candles?”
“Sorry,” Keith replies, eyes never really leaving Lance. “I got held up, routine mission turned into a hostage situation. You know how it goes.”- OR -
mid-season 6, Keith returns to the castle of lions to celebrate Lance’s birthday. It’s supposed to only be for the day, but a series of strange coincidences keep preventing him from leaving...

Summary
Neil Perry never asked to be Spider-Man.
He just wanted to skateboard, avoid disappointing his father, and maybe star in A Midsummer Night's Dream again. Instead, he’s stuck at a science camp in 1996 Manhattan, pretending to care about Oscorp’s latest biotech marvels—until a spider bite changes everything.
Now there’s danger rising at Welton Academy, a secret poetry club in the making, and Todd Anderson—his soft-spoken new roommate, who sees right through him. With the city changing and power thrumming beneath his skin, Neil has to decide what kind of legacy he wants to leave behind: one of hiding, or one of heroism.

Summary
Keith Kogane does not believe in love.
More accurately, Keith Kogane does not believe that he was meant for love—romantically, at least. Love for his few close friends? Sure. Admiration for his brother? Of course. Parental love? Eh, it’s not like he even has any parents to love, but if he did, surely that would be in the realm of possibility.
But romance? Forget about it.
However, he had a habit of developing embarrassingly extreme crushes. Sometimes, these crushes were so gut-wrenching, so expansive, so world-ending that he felt like he would choke and die on his own heart if he didn’t get them out of his system. So he wrote letters.
These letters were never meant to see the light of day, let alone get mailed. They sit and collect dust, but at least the feelings aren’t festering in Keith’s chest. Sometimes, he’ll pull one out and read it, maybe because he’s a masochist, or maybe as a reminder of how big his feelings can be—how vast his span of emotion really is when he isn’t suppressing it for the greater good.
Besides, it’s not like Keith still liked any of those old crushes anyways. Probably.
