Alhaitham froze mid-step, the branches slipping from his hands and tumbling away from the pile he had been aiming for. For some inexplicable reason, the air felt suddenly warmer—and his pants uncomfortably tighter.

"…What?"
He turned toward Kaveh, his thoughts still caught on that peculiar choice of words—only to find him crouched beside the dog, scratching it between the ears as he retrieved a small piece of wood out of its mouth and added it to their growing pile.

Summary
Keith doesn't care much about his soulmark, he doesn't want to meet his soulmate for their sake. Though, his dad did do some research when he was little and told him the two purple flowers on his left hip were purple anemone flowers. Keith looked it up once when he was bored at the garrison and found that the anemone flower, Anemone nemorosa, symbolizes "anticipation, forsaken love, and fragile beauty." Kind of ironic that Keith wants nothing to do with his soulmate when their soulmark's mean something like that.
The two flowers are fairly pretty, so Keith's not mad about that, at least. One is slightly higher than the other and in full bloom, the lower one is wilted but not so much to be ugly. He assumes that one probably represents him. The purple looks nice on his skin, so he often finds himself looking at it in the mirror when he's changing but he makes sure it's always fully covered. He doesn't want anyone asking him any questions.

Kaveh picks up a new habit to help him concentrate: lollipops.
Alhaitham, tragically, will never know peace again.Gritting his teeth and shooting a glare up at the heavens, Alhaitham tried not to watch as Kaveh slowly slipped the lollipop past his plush, pink lips.
He failed.
Alhaitham waited for Kaveh to find his usual rhythm, a slow drag back and forth along his tongue - but instead, Kaveh only pressed it further into his mouth until it nearly disappeared.
Without thinking, mind numb with desire as every drop of blood in his body drained from his brain and joined together to form a riot in his pants, Alhaitham muttered, “Fucking hell, do you really not even have a gag reflex?”
He should have been able to hold it in. After all, he’d spent thirty long years building up his self-control.
Unfortunately, Alhaitham had been reduced to the cognitive capacity of a fungus.
