The first time it happened, it almost killed him and Bakugou.
He was defending himself, and with a blink, he was somewhere else entirely, the blue of the sky encompassing his line of sight, the whistle of the wind resistance getting gradually louder, and the pull of gravity feeling more tangible.
He heard cursing, very familiar cursing, followed by very familiar explosions. That made no sense, he was nowhere near Bakugou; he saw Bakugou fighting a villain and left his vicinity to follow another villain entirely. But... That was definitely Bakugou. Near his ear. Mid-air.TLDR: The 5 times Kirishima uses his newly acquired teleportation quirk and +1 time he deals with the reason why he keeps ending up in seemingly random and inconvenient places.

"I got you something!" Aziraphale blurted out, a certain nervousness in his tone.
"Ngk?" Was Crowley's eloquent response. He didn't know what he was expecting, but it wasn't that at all. "You... got me something?"
The demon, who up until this point was glad for and relying on the previous glasses of wine he drank internally cursed humanity for ever inventing alcohol and reducing his speech to uncomprehensible sounds and mimicking Aziraphale like a parrot.
Luckily, Aziraphale didn't seem to mind that much.
"I've been... having mixed feelings about it."

it's a heartwarming mix of a bunch of my favorite cliches with a genuinely interesting premise and I can't help but come back to it from time to time

love at first sight, but instead of first sight it's at proximity via very fortunate (depending on your view) circumstances and it's not falling in love, but found family. and also two dumbasses falling in love along the way because we're all hopeless romantics
I love this fic. it takes a perspective on these characters and fleshes out the world in a way that feels innovative, and the romance is endearing and comes from a place of understanding and seeing people for who they really are, as flawed and different from you as they can be, and learning how to live in their world to be with them
also, dumbasses. these teenagers are so STUPID and so SMART and so IN LOVE and I love love, man -

Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.

crying, screaming, throwing up. "to be loved is to be seen", they say, and this pile of fluff gave me a much needed dose of that. the inherently romantic act of going out of your way to acomodate someone else, if only so they can get a reprieve of the rest of the world with you. this is incredibly in character and I am choosing to gaslight myself to believing this is the official canon.
also, learn your country's/region's sign language please. it's a little taxing but your tiny incovenience can make sure someone feels heard and part of the conversation. -

The only thing anyone has really figured out about him is that he’s American. And that’s not exactly hard because he obviously has an accent.
The only thing Derek really knows is that, despite other reports, he seems quiet enough, prefers to work alone, and has the most amazing shade of amber eyes that Derek has ever seen.
