    The vampire’s body has gone mostly limp at this point, the only movements being erratic twitches as he tries to get his body to move again. It won’t, of course, but the brute doesn’t appear to want to succumb. Drool oozes down the corners of his mouth, and his fangs have fully protruded by now. Akechi wants to reach down and yank them out or crush them beneath his heel, but he needs Hisakawa to be able to talk. For now, at least.
    “What do you want?” Hisakawa spits out.
    “I want to know where Shido is.”

    If the battle continued in this direction, Akira could accidentally get hurt. Goro needed to steer the fight away. But it was too late. King Yaldabaoth followed Goro’s line of sight and started charging towards Akira. Akira was open. Akira was vulnerable.

    “No!” Goro choked. In his mind, he had a vivid vision of a fatal blow striking Akira, then Akira bursting into blue and white flames, surrendering his body to the stars. It made him realise that proving his worth no longer meant anything to him. Not if it put his soulmate’s life in danger. Not if it meant that he might be able to spend even one millisecond less with Akira.

    Also: a fae AU in which Akira and Goro are soulmates but they are high princes from opposing kingdoms.

It’ll be easier for me to watch every minute detail you make if you wear one and it’ll also help with the chafing.”
    “If you wanted an excuse for me to show more skin, you should have just said so. I’d gladly comply in a heartbeat.”
    “As if I have to ask since you’ll take any excuse to show more skin regardless of me asking for it,” Akechi jibes back.

    Fives years after awakening to his persona, Akira and crew find themselves in a palace unlike anything they have faced before. Needing to dance their way through the palace to steal the treasure, they desperately need an instructor to teach them how. The fact that their instructor was incredibly hot didn't play a factor at all.
