Someone else was there.
A presence to his right and Jisung’s pulse skipped in the worst possible way.
“Well,” Minho drawled, leaning casually against the wall beside him “that’s a pretty uncomfortable position.”
“No shit” Jisung hissed, still struggling.
“Fuck off” the other vampire snarled over his shoulder. “Find your own dinner.”
Minho laughed. A soft, airy giggle that absolutely did not belong in an alley where someone was about to die.
Jisung honestly wondered if he was hallucinating.
Pinned to a wall by a vampire he nearly killed, and another immortal one appears like this is some sick comedy show.
“Did you miss me, Jisung?” Minho asked, tilting his head with a small pout.

“He has sex, like, every day. And then again at night, sometimes.” Jisung makes a noise of distress. He drags his hands down his face before balling them into fists beneath his chin. “It’s just . . . so distracting, Hyunjin.”
“Distracting,” Hyunjin repeats, giving Jisung a meaningful smirk. “Oh, I bet it is.”
“Aw,” Jisung whines. “Why’d you have to say it like that?”
“Like what?”
“Like you think I wish I were the one he were fucking, instead.”
“Because you do, don’t you, or are we pretending we both don’t know that?” Hyunjin’s gaze flits over to Minho before it swiftly cuts back to Jisung, all-knowing. “You’d let him do anything to you. Am I wrong?”

Summary
City lights flicker weakly in the distance, like brushstrokes in the background of a painting, highlighting the main subject that sits in the darkness with a pained look in his eyes, the untold kind of pain.
“This is what it’s like to assume your past experiences prepare you for the future. It’s nothing but an illusion.”
Minho’s throat feels clogged up now, no words making it past his lips. There’s pain in his own lungs, taking up the space of all the air. And he wishes he can escape the feeling, but Jisung, for the first time, doesn’t look away from him as he talks, doesn’t try to hide the weight of his words or mask it behind an attempt at humor.
“Minho-ssi,” he near whispers, “do you know how I got injured?”
