Although it is the Tarot card that many people fear, Death generally does not mean physical death. It represents transformation.
Remy was always a player, not a fortune teller. But in this, he wanted to believe Tarot much more than his own experience.

After being rescued from under Apocalypse's control and nursed by his fellow X-men to somewhat of a health, Remy finds himself on a journey of regaining his life. Struggling with ghosts of the past, he goes to New Orleans to finally face them and reclaim what once was taken from him - or what he gave out willingly.
Meeting friends and foes, Remy does everything he can to finally see the light behind his own eyes once again. He has to go through reunions, capture, facing his own nightmares regularly. Thankfully, he's not alone in this, even though Remy still struggles to believe someone might actually care for a broken reflection of a long gone person he sees himself as.

Remy's been gone for just about 5 days and Rogue's been anxious about it. A part of her would love to scold him for being gone so long without warning, but she's mostly just relieved when he shows back up in the middle of the night.
