Summary
They've awoken in a world that is no longer familiar to them—one that acts as if it is welcoming them home. They're forced, now, to find a way to heal in a world full of people that are clambering to meet them—they're characters to them, but they are every bit as real as the rest. They still bleed the same, still laugh, still cry, still cope poorly with issues—they're not fake, but they certainly feel that way.
Or: the path to healing is never linear, and a group of kids is expected to find a way forward after losing everything but each other.
