[Anya dances on her back legs, expression excited as Shane grabs his phone and they walk out the door. Shane's face and chest are sweaty, and he wipes at the hair on his forehead as he takes a long drink of water.]
Shane: Hi, um, I'm Shane Hollander, which you probably already know if you're seeing this, but I've been asked to do this day in the life thing? I don't really know what I'm doing, and I'm honestly kind of annoyed I have to keep setting my phone up and walking into rooms like I haven't already been there, but you know. Anything for the team, right?
[He looks at Anya, and she barks before licking at the sweat on his face. Shane halfheartedly tries to push her off, but laughs at her antics before he speaks again.]
Shane: So, anyway. Come spend the day with me and my husband if you want.

Producer: Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander.
Shane: Yes.
Ilya: Yes, those are our names. See how truthful I’m already being?
Shane: You’re not even hooked up to anything yet.
Ilya: I’m just establishing how honest I am before we start.
Producer: Well, that’s good because you’re both here to take a lie detector test. The way this works is that one of you will be hooked up to the machine while the other asks questions, and then you’ll switch. Judd [the camera switches to show a man with glasses and stark white hair sitting at the polygraph machine] will be reading your results in real time. Shane, you’ll go first.

@hockeywhore @love2puck the only distraction is how terribly he’s been treated by his team and the league. Wouldn’t blame him one bit if he walked away from the game altogether.
