Two days a week, in the early mornings when Zhang Hao had swim practice, Hanbin would abandon her regular gym and stay on the treadmill in the pool gym for a solid ninety minutes just to watch her swimming below. Upon learning of this, Zhang Hao had called her a creep then promptly sat on her face.

Summary
Hao knows how he must look because of the way Hanbin himself looks: flushed skin, disheveled hair, and plump lips bitten red. He thinks he should feel more embarrassed, and perhaps he will tomorrow.

Summary
His freedom is a concept that has lied out of reach for him since he was first captured, as he never assumed that there would be any other way for his story to end: the scientists on the ship made it clear he would be trapped in America until his new owners grew bored with him and severed his life at any moment they deemed fit. He wished for freedom, naturally, but as his time on the ship lengthened this wish changed. It seemed unfathomable to leave Hao behind when Hanbin was growing more convinced that they belonged together. He wanted Hao to always be with him, to brush a hand through Hanbin’s hair or pinch his cheek or smile at him in that soft, amused way he does. Two rivers running in parallel to each other until their time of confluence.

Summary
Zhang Hao chuckles, leaning into him. “Then I'm greatly looking forward to it.” They both look when Seungeon shouts out his name, waving him over. “Well, that's my cue. Like I said, text me, okay?”
Hanbin swallows. “Okay.” Zhang Hao's warmth leaves him, though his eyes are still mapping out Hanbin's features like he's afraid of forgetting how he looks. “I had a lot of fun, too. Thanks for being so…understanding.” He winces at the reminder of what led them to talking in the first place.
“Understanding?” Zhang Hao questions, head tilted. Then he snorts. “Oh, that. You need to stop worrying about that. In fact, I'd prefer if you set your wallpaper back to how it was. Or do I need to send you a new picture?” He grins at Hanbin's surprised expression, before turning on his heel and barging in between Seungeon and Yujin.
After Hanbin's lockscreen of another idol is broadcast to the world, he's expecting to be thoroughly embarrassed. What he's not expecting is for said idol to show a very sudden interest in him.

The wrongness of what he said is immediately apparent to him, both on his own and with the help of the curious smug quirk in Hanbin’s face. Still, he doesn’t back down.
“I think you should already know what you would get,” he responds, twisting the hem of Hao’s shorts between his pointer and thumb.
