Summary
“Okay,” Becca says with a nod, thankful to be able to focus on the movie again as she declares, “I’m still not calling you Frank, though.”
“I guess beggars can’t be choosers, can they?”
“Nope.”
Becca likes Dr. Langdon when she meets him during her emergency room visit. It’s later, when he's introduced to her as Mel's friend Frank, that she decides she isn't so sure.

Summary
It’s petulant, the way she immediately feels the need to argue against his words, the feelings she’s fought so hard to keep bottled up threatening to explode within her. He’s married.
“Abby wouldn’t encourage it.”
“I don’t think Abby really gives a shit anymore, to be honest.”
Frank tries to hint that he's getting divorced. Mel doesn't quite get the memo.

“Yes,” she tells him. “I’m- I’m fine. I’m good. Great, even.” Then, though she knows it’s overkill and probably lame of her to say, “All good over here, Doc.”
“Doc?” His puzzled look changes into that of amusement. Laughing, he asks, “Are you channeling Bugs Bunny or something?”
Or, 3 times Mel embarrasses herself + 1 time Frank does it for her

A beat, then, “How does Dr. King feel about company?”
“Dr. King isn’t sold on company generally speaking,” she says, then realizing his implication, has to bite back a grin. “She doesn’t mind her friend Dr. Langdon, though.”
Mel finds solace in sitting on the rooftop following some of the ED’s hardest moments. Langdon joins her.

Summary
“It’s been six months, Mulder,” Scully mutters from the passenger seat, the newspaper in her hands crinkling noisily as she closes and places it in her lap, her attention now on him.
Mulder swallows and reaches for her hand, hoping to bring her a semblance of comfort as she often does him.
“It won’t be like this forever,” he promises, but even as his voice remains steady, he can feel his resolve crumbling and knows she can sense it, too
Post-Season 9.

Summary
Tyler Owens is twenty-six when his bull riding days come to a sudden, bitter end, leaving him with a concussion, a crushed leg, and a line of stitches along his thigh to prove it.
Meanwhile, on the same night, Kate Carter is mourning the loss of her friends to a storm they had underestimated, left to deal with the carnage and a gash in her thigh. The stitches and medication she's been given do nothing to ease her pain.
Five years later, during an unusual tornado season in Oklahoma, they cross paths.
AU. In a rare phenomenon, soulmates share each other's scars, except each one is a result of their own, individual experiences.

Summary
“If my plan hadn't worked, if I had died out there—if you had died, Tyler, I don’t think I could’ve lived with myself.” Her voice breaks as she adds, “I can’t lose anyone else.”
He lifts her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze when he tells her, “I’m not going anywhere.”
Physical wounds aren’t the only source of pain for Kate and Tyler as they guide each other through the aftermath of the El Reno EF5.

Summary
His brows furrow in annoyance, and where his eyes were once endless pools of feeling, they’re shallow. There’s an emptiness to him. Her stomach sinks, eyes suddenly filling with a new onset of tears, though this time for a vastly different reason as she realizes that although Bellamy stands before her, he isn’t the Bellamy she knows and loves.
He isn’t the Bellamy that she’s traveled across the universe for, hell-bent on saving.
— or, Clarke makes it to Bardo and reunites with Bellamy, but things don't go according to plan.

Summary
It’s simple. Kind of silly, really, that he feels the need to explain it as if this isn’t what they’ve done for almost as long as they’ve known each other. Clarke smiles. “Together, huh?”
Bellamy’s hand reaches for hers, rough skin of his thumb rubbing against the back of it, eliciting sparks in a way it probably shouldn’t but that his touch always seems to. She grips his hand tighter in her own as he assures her, “Like everything else.”
— As peace slowly begins to settle around them, they examine the scars left behind from their pasts, and wonder if maybe it isn't time to finally move forward.
(Together, they heal.)

Summary
He came into her life nearly five years ago wreaking havoc and had done so ever since.
She tried telling herself she hated him, tried even harder to actually do so, but no matter how much he got under her skin, she couldn’t seem to help it — One Clarke Griffin, when provoked, would never be able to resist arguing with one Bellamy Blake.
Except, it’s when the arguing suddenly turns into falling in love with him that the real problems start.

Summary
Her eyes drift down to his, wide and filled with tears of his own, and he looks so small. Bellamy’s never been small—all broad shoulders and thick arms, presence large enough to fill a room; to motivate the masses.
Seeing him like this now, weak and scared and so obviously in pain is the antithesis of the Bellamy Blake she knows, and the realization aches worse than any of the physical pain she’s in.

Summary
His thumb brushing against her cheek, mouth tilting up only barely, he murmurs, “Get some rest, Clarke.”
She swallows heavily before telling him, “You too,” though she knows he won’t listen. “There are others keeping watch, you know.”
“Yeah,” he says, wistful. “I know.”
Her words won’t have changed his mind. She knows he’ll keep watch all night, stubborn to a fault, and therefore relents.
With a sigh, she returns to her sleeping bag, though not without one last glance over at him, her skin still afire from his touch.
— or, three times Bellamy kissed Clarke's forehead and one time she kissed his.

Summary
The first time she sees him, she's 16 and waiting for the elevator in a shoddy hotel where a convention for aspiring actors is being held, and she decides she doesn't like him.
The second time she sees him, she's 23 and just landed a role in a show on some shitty network she's barely ever heard of, and she thinks that maybe this isn't worth it.
(She learns that perhaps it is worth it, even if only because of him).
— Or, Clarke and Bellamy as actors who just can't seem to get the timing right. Neither can their characters.

Summary
“Fine,” she relented, lips quirking up into a smile as she tilted her head at him, “but you owe me. I’m not about to humiliate myself just for fun.”
“Nah,” he disagreed, pulling her in the direction of the dining room. Her eyes scoured the area for Raven, but she was nowhere to be seen- probably off talking with Monty or Jasper- and Clarke shrugged it off. “The fun’s just an added bonus,” Bellamy continued, eyes glinting in the light as he grinned at her over his shoulder. She silently cursed her stomach for the fluttering it did in response.
— Clarke, Bellamy, and a game of beer pong most definitely inspired by Bob and Eliza being super adorable this weekend.

Summary
Over the years, they’d sucked each other dry of the love that once ran rampant through their veins, leaving only pain and resentment in its wake. She couldn’t quit pinpoint when or how it happened, and perhaps that was the worst part.
— Moments between Bellamy and Clarke at the beginning, middle, and end of their relationship. Not necessarily in that order.

Summary
“It looks nice,” he muttered after a few seconds, voice immensely softer than it had been before. “You always did like snow.”
Tears stung at the back of her eyes, but she wasn’t entirely sure why. “Yeah,” she agreed quietly. “I did.”
Or, Bellamy and Clarke are exes. Getting snowed in, they figured, would be the worst thing. But close proximity and perpetual feelings force them to realize that, perhaps, being stuck together isn't so bad after all, and breaking up may have been their biggest mistake.

Summary
“It’s okay, I’m here. Whatever it is, you’ll get through it. We will,” he murmured with what felt like a kiss against the top of her head. She found herself melting further into him, trying to calm the still racing beat of heart. Rather than simply lingering around the edges, brown, a deep, warm variation of the color, now began to weave its way into her soul.
Her world was still red, and yet, with him as her anchor, she no longer found herself drowning in it.

Summary
"Get off your ass, Blake. We have lives to save.” She chanced a glance at him over her shoulder as she left the room, knowing she couldn’t linger for long.
"Shut the hell up and move faster then, Griffin," he quipped playfully, heading in the opposite direction down the hall. Then, before he could get too far, "And Clarke? Be careful."
"You too, Bellamy."
Or, Clarke's a paramedic. Bellamy's a firefighter for the same station. Things between them are a little... complicated.

“No,” she whispered in response. “It’s not.”
“But—“
“I left him behind.” She said, desperate, voice fragile, breaking on the last word. “I left him behind, and he— he’s—“
Or, Indra makes it to Shallow Valley before Bellamy and Clarke assumes the worst.
