Sakura runs after him, and her neatness was left somewhere back there, beyond the boundaries of this field. Summer gives her scratches, bruises, and happiness.
Sasuke brings up the rear. For this moment he forgets who he is, whom he belongs to, and what his purpose is in this life. Right now he is just Sasuke. And ahead is just Naruto. And just Sakura. Today only this field exists, friends, and the sun.

Bolting up on the couch, Sakura's cookbook slips from her lap—the one Ino got her for Christmas, saying enough is enough and that it was mandatory her best friend made meals for herself.
"You want to make..? Ramen?" She glances down at her book on the floor and then back up with a frown. "…I mean I can try but—"
"—No, I want to make it."
